We'll pick you up from your hotel between 6:20 and 6:30 a.m. Once the group is complete, we'll head north. Our first stop will be Chinchero, where we'll see the entire wool process, from washing to spinning beautiful textiles. This picturesque town also has agricultural terraces, the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui and a beautiful colonial church built on the foundations of an Inca structure.
We'll continue our journey to the Maras salt mines, where we'll see the natural salt extraction process, which dates back to Inca times. Next, we'll go to Moray, where we'll explore the natural depressions used as experimental agricultural terraces. Our next stop will be Urubamba, where we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
After lunch, we'll head to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to protect the entrance to this part of the valley and guard it against possible invasions by jungle peoples. Finally, we'll visit the town of Pisac to see the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built during the reign of the Inca Pachacútec. Its strategic location on a mountaintop offers a panoramic view of the valley, which stretches toward the Antisuyo region. At the end of the tour, we'll return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m., near Plaza Regocijo.
